Donor Wall of Honor
Elvis fans have long had a special relationship with The MED. A $50,000 gift from Elvis fans in 1986 started The MED Foundation. Even before this occurred, the Trauma Center at The MED was named in honor of Elvis Presley. Every year Elvis fans come to Memphis to participate in the annual celebration of his life and to tour the trauma center that bears his name.
In 1990, The MED Foundation established a "Wall of Honor” in the Elvis Presley Memorial Trauma Center for donors who cumulatively contribute $1,000. Nearly 300 plaques hang there today, each dated and inscribed according to the donor's wishes. Please join the many Trauma Center supporters from around the world and make your gift today. When your gifts reach $1,000, you will receive a form to fill out with your own personalized message on a plaque for the Donor Wall of Honor.
In January 2010, many fans from near and far flocked to Memphis to celebrate the King’s 75th Birthday. Always a generous bunch, a number of Fan Clubs came bearing gifts. We’d like to honor The Elvis Happy Fan Club, Good Rocking Tonight, Jailhouse Rockers of California, The Elvis Presley TCB of Chicago, True Fans for Elvis Fan Club, and We Remember Elvis Fan Club for their generous donations, totaling $5,000.
