Firefighters Regional Burn Center

Serious burns hospitalize almost 100,000 Americans each year, and approximately 300 of those are treated at The MED’s Firefighters Regional Burn Center. A team of healthcare professionals experienced in treating severe burns uses advanced equipment and techniques to help stabilize burn victims. Then, the staff gives the burn patients the care and encouragement they need to return to normal, productive lives as quickly as possible.

The Firefighters Regional Burn Center:

• Treats more than 300 patients annually.
• Is the only full-service burn center of its kind within a 150-mile radius of Memphis.
• Features 14 beds, an outpatient clinic, facilities for surgery, a rehabilitation center, a research division, and special cutting-edge burn care equipment.
