Adult Special Care Center

Through the Adult Special Care Center at The MED, HIV-positive patients receive the highest standard of care. Individualized treatment is available for the whole person, addressing medical, psychosocial, nutritional and financial needs. Staff members guide patients in accessing information about the latest HIV-related research, as well as information about HIV-related community events, social activities, support groups, and networking opportunities.

The Adult Special Care Center offers:

• Primary and specialty medical care, including psychiatry
• Nephrology care
• Neurological l Care
• Clinical pharmacy consultation services and medication adherence counseling
• Medical case management
• Outreach case management to adults infected with HIV & AIDS
